A registered charity cannot return a donor's gift. Evangel Temple is a registered not-for-profit organization. As such, we follow Canada Revenue Agency rules, as it oversees the charitable sector. As a donation transfers ownership of the money from the donor to the charity, once the transfer is made, the charity is obliged to use the gift in carrying out its charitable purposes. If your donation was made with the wrong designation, it would be our pleasure to help redirect your donation to the correct one. We also acknowledge instances which a gift is made in error, Common examples include; making duplicate gifts within a short time period, entering the wrong amount.
